Community Counsel Project:
Mary’s Place and Amazon

In fall 2024, we launched a new phase of our Community Counsel Project in partnership with Mary’s Place, a Seattle-based family shelter, and Amazon, and with the support of K&L Gates, Perkins Coie, Fenwick & West, and Davis Wright Tremaine. Through this innovative collaboration, Co-Counsel will be providing a wide variety of on-going legal training and support to Mary’s Place guests and staff, including in-person legal clinics, regular supervision, and community-oriented education, to assist with asylum applications, work permits, Temporary Protected Status, and removal defense. “We’re excited and grateful, and looking forward to what’s ahead,” says Mary’s Place CEO Dominique Alex.

Please contact us if you would like to collaborate. We look forward to hearing from you!
