As it becomes more and more difficult for immigrant clients to get a fair day in court before the immigration courts and the BIA, advocates will need to seek review in the federal circuit courts.
Join Co-Counsel’s appellate experts, Co-Executive Director Rebecca Press and Senior Counsel and former Appellate Immigration Judge Andrea Sáenz, for an essential training on petitions for review, including: standards of review and jurisdictional rules, stays of removal, issue-spotting and reviewing IJ/BIA decisions, and briefing and argument.
This training will focus on Second Circuit rules and case law but all are welcome. Attendees will also receive template resources for filing a PFR and motion for stay of removal.
May 18, 2026 from 2-3:30 p.m. EST.
We are current seeking approval for 1.5 MCLE credits in Areas of Professional Practice, transitional and non-transitional credit.
Space is limited to allow for a robust discussion. Full and partial tuition scholarships are available for all CLE programs. Requests for scholarship should be sent to support@cocounsel.org and will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and availability is subject to space limitation.
